Delete your account

You can ask us to delete your Fazo English account and everything stored with it. Here is exactly how, and what happens.

1. How to request deletion

In the app: open More → Delete account, confirm, and the account is deleted immediately. This is the fastest way and needs nothing from us.

If you no longer have the app installed, email [email protected] from the email address your account uses, with the subject “Delete my account”. We confirm your identity, delete the account and reply. Requests are completed within 30 days.

2. What is deleted

  • Your account: name, email address and avatar.
  • Learning progress: saved words, review stages, XP, day-streaks and league standings.
  • AI tutor history: your chat messages and any voice recordings you sent for transcription.
  • Your notification token and device records.

3. What we keep, and for how long

Anonymous, aggregated usage statistics that cannot identify you are kept. Records of subscription payments are kept for the period required by accounting law and by the Google Play and App Store billing rules; they are not used for anything else.

4. Cancelling a subscription

Deleting your account does not cancel a paid subscription. Cancel it first in Google Play (Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions) or on iPhone in Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
